Trusted by locals as “Guardians of the God of the Dalem Agung Temple,” the long-tailed macaques live in certain areas and are often seen on the road. At 3:00 p.m., travel to the Royal Palace of Ubud (Puri Saren Ubud) and look in wonder at one of the most prominent monuments in the area. Built in traditional Balinese style, this palace was built during the reign of Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800-1823) and has been well preserved by its heirs. Admire beautiful gardens and banyan trees that provide protection from heat.
Complete your tour at Tanah Lot Temple, which is famous for its stunning beach setting and as a place to see the sunset at the end of the day.
